KNACKSAT-2

The Thailand satellite project KNACKSAT-2 is entering a crucial phase after the satellite was successfully placed on the International Space Station in late 2025. The launch date has been confirmed for February 3, 2026 at 8:55 UTC. After deployment successful. please help to receive telemetry on downlink frequency 400.630 MHz (Not Amateur Radio Band) decode and send report.

This mission marks a significant milestone for King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), building upon the success of Thailand’s first KNACKSAT-1 satellite which was entirely designed and built by a domestic educational institution. Launched into space by a Falcon 9 rocket in 2018 this project was carried out in close cooperation with NBSPACE and a network of domestic and international partners.

Research & Development Partners of KNACKSAT-2
Thai Space Consortium (TSC) : NARIT (SpaceFight “Students Payload Competition”)
Advance Wireless Network (AWN ) : Company Research Under PMUC Grant.
Rail System Cluster (RSC) : KMUTNB’s Research Group on Rail Systems.
ASEANSAT Satellite Research Group : UiTM, UPHSD, KMUTNB.
Pre-Engineering School : KMUTNB’s high school students.
Radio Amateur Society of Thailand under The Royal Patronage of His Majesty The King (RAST) : APRS-DP Mission.

Amateur Radio:
KNACKSAT-2 carried amateur radio frequencies for the APRS-DP payload. Therefore, we serve the amateur radio community as part of our mission.
